Whitney Houston dies at 48

It’s no secret she’s had a rough go of it in recent years, and Whitney Houston has died of undisclosed causes, says her publicist Kristen Foster.

With her fans and friends understandably devastated by the news, details available thus far tell that the “I Will Always Love You” singer was found unresponsive in her room at the Beverly Hilton hotel on Saturday (February 11).

With paramedica arriving within minutes, Houston was pronounced dead at 3:55PM with a full investigation already underway - though there are said to be no signs of foul play.

According to TMZ, a search of the Beverly Hilton Hotel room in which the 48-year-old was staying found no illegal drugs, though prescription medications were located.

TMZ adds that there’s a chance Miss Houston died from drowning in the bathtub, but since her body was removed from the water before EMTs arrived the conclusive determination must await an autopsy.

'All Is Lost' Trailer: Remember This One Come Oscar Time

Back in May, the new movie from J.C. Chandor, the Oscar-nominated writer and director of "Margin Call," starring Robert Redford, "All Is Lost," debuted at the Cannes Film Festival, and it wowed just about everyone. (Most of those reviews are quoted in single-word raves in the trailer.)

The first trailer for "All Is Lost" just debuted over at Yahoo! Movies, so check out the trailer above and learn more about the film after the jump!

Redford is simply credited as "Our Man," a sailor, out in the ocean all my himself. When a loose shipping crate tears a hole in the side of his yacht, Our Man must do what he can to survive and find land before the elements overtake him.

What really wowed the crowds in Cannes about Redford's performance is that Our Man is the only character in "All Is Lost," and he rarely speaks, putting him at the center of early Best Actor talk. Keep an eye on this one because you'll definitely be hearing a lot more about it.

"All Is Lost" opens on October 18.

Lea Michele Attends Pal's Party in Beverly Hills

Trying to get back in to the swing of things after her boyfriend’s tragic death last month, Lea Michele showed up at a friend’s party on Saturday (August 3) Beverly Hills.

Donning a short white dress, the “Glee” actress tried to keep a low profile as she made her way past shutterbugs outside the Thompson Hotel.

As previously reported by GossipCenter, the 26-year-old actress returned to the set of the hit Fox program on Thursday for the first time since Cory Monteith was found dead in his Vancouver hotel room.

"First day of glee today..And at my first wardrobe fitting for Rachel Berry for Season Five! I've missed her so much,” she tweeted.

“7th Heaven” star Mackenzie Rosman graces the pages of Maxim! Check it out!

Little Ruthie has sure grown up. It is craziness and I am sure as heck feeling old. I feel creepy even posting about this cause when I watched this chick on 7th Heaven (I was a goody two shoes okay?!) she was all of maybe 8. Goodness, I can’t believe how long that show went on for. Nothing like it on TV now. You can choose between vampires, werewolves and zombies. Anyway, this chick is still living off her 7th Heaven days and the show went off the air in 2007!  Now this little girl is grown and  is taking it all off for Maxim.

Maxim: Are there any 7th Heaven drinking games?

Mackenzie: No, but I would like to see one. You could drink whenever Ruthie rolls her eyes or when Lucy squeals.

Maxim: Do you remember when she [Jessica Biel] did that topless shoot for Gear magazine while she was on the show?

Mackenzie: I was probably nine at the time, but I remember that. It was a big deal. The magazine was banned on set, I think by orders of Aaron Spelling. I sneaked a peek at it, though. It was racy gossip amongst the women of 7th Heaven!

Maxim: Do you have a celebrity crush?

Mackenzie: I used to have a really big crush on Hayden Christensen.

The actress, now 23, tweeted her excitement about the shoot, writing, “I caved… Just wrapped a #Maxim photoshoot ”

On her ‘Liberal Arts’ character zibby offering Jesse her virginity:
“Being 35 and taking a girl’s virginity? That’s crazy… If I were an older man and I saw a girl my age, who maybe didn’t know herself that well, I would find her so unappealing, because if you’re in it for sex, the sex won’t be that great. But when I see a woman in her 40s and up, I think, God, you know a lot. One day, I’ll get to be desired like you.”

On her supportive father:
“My dad’s greatest pleasure is watching his kids do what they want to do. Nowadays, he loves going to my sisters’ fashion shows or coming to visit me on set.”

On her thought that being single is necessary to love thyself:
“It’s made me appreciate the things that I need to feel fulfilled. Sometimes, when I’m in a relationship, I get so excited to be around the other person that I forget to indulge the things that I need to be happy on a day-to-day basis. Or at least I did—I’m such a different person now than I was two years ago.”

On working hard to make a name for herself on her own:
“There’s definitely a reason why I went to so many acting conservatories. The more I trained, the less people could say, ‘Oh, she’s just so-and-so’s sister.’ They can still say that, sure—I have no control over that—but at least I know I’ve worked hard. There was definitely a time when I overcompensated, but I’m kind of over that.”

Director Josh Radnor on Elizabeth Olsen:
“You’d be surprised by how many young actors show up not knowing their lines,” he says. “Lizzie isn’t one of them. She puts a lot of thought into her characters, but she doesn’t show her homework.”

Jennifer Aniston Joins Co-Stars at "We're the Millers" Event

Taking care of some media obligations, the stars of “We’re the Millers” attended a press conference for the film on Saturday (August 3) in New York City.

Rocking a black leather skirt, Jennifer Aniston arrived separately from her co-stars Emma Roberts, who looked stylish in a chic metallic skirt and black tank, and a more casually clad Jason Sudeikis.

Directed by Rawson Miller Thurber, the comedy follows a veteran pot dealer who creates a fake family as part of his plan to move a huge shipment of weed into the U.S. from Mexico.

Also starring Ed Helms and Will Poulter, “We’re the Millers” arrives in theaters nationwide on August 7.
