Miley Cyrus did a mega hot promo for the 2013 VMA’s which happen to be airing on August 25th. I am super excited, cause in my humble opinion, it is the best award show of the year. Thank me later MTV.
Anyway girlfriend has got some swagger. For realz. In the promo Miley licks her lips as she climbs down a ladder in a pair of super sexy heels and is joined by a group of friends while the Beastie Boys’ hit song “No Sleep Till Brooklyn” blasts in the background. Oh yea.
The tagline “Miley’s Coming For You” is featured in the clip, and we couldn’t be more excited about what’s to come.
The mega talented starlet will be performing on stage at the awards show on Aug. 25, at Brooklyn’s Barclay Center. And she is definitely one of the most anticipated performers of the night and will most likely sing her hit “We Can’t Stop.” It actually sound like this year is gonna be bigger than most years, with Miley having new music, Lady Gaga having new music and Kanye West. I am also holding out some hope for some Justin Timberlake. Just sayin. A girl can dream.
Miley is nominated for Best Pop Video, Best Female Video and Best Editing for the single and has been rallying to get fans to vote for her.
Justin and Macklemore lea the nominations, each having six. J.T.’s “Mirrors,” Macklemore & Ryan Lewis’ “Thrift Shop” are up for Video of the Year as are Bruno Mars’ “Locked out of Heaven” and Robin Thicke’s “Blurred Lines.”Taylor Swift is the lone female competing for the top prize for “I Knew You Were Trouble.”
