Carey Mulligan: Hard At Work on “Suffragette” Set

Kicking off her brand new project, Carey Mulligan showed up in London, England today (February 24) to film “Suffragette.”

The “Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps” starlet looked a bit drab in a black beret, black wool coat and fingerless gloves as she got into character as iconic political activist Emmeline Pankhurst.

Also starring Helena Bonham Carter, Meryl Streep, Ben Whishaw and Brendan Gleeson, “Suffragette” is currently slated for release in 2015.

Per the synopsis, “This is the story of the foot soldiers of the early feminist movement, women who were forced underground to pursue a dangerous game of cat and mouse with an increasingly brutal State.”
