I never thought I would enjoy a movie about the making of ‘Mary Poppins’, but after seeing this trailer I can’t wait to see this movie! In Saving Mr. Banks, Tom Hanks stars as Walt Disney and Emma Thompson as Poppins author P.L. Travers. Hanks has a heck of a time trying to convince Thompson to let him adapt her story to the big screen, while Thompson seems to just want to convey what her story really means to her.
This one definitely looks like it will be a holiday hit! The movie will hit theatres on December 20 and I have a feeling I know what the feel good hit of the holidays will be! Check out the trailer below;
