When A-listers walk the red carpet in stunning gowns, batting their eyes for the camera, they look like perfect specimens of the human species. We may not all be able to experience the star treatment, but thanks to Katy Perry and Eylure, we can get a taste of full, flirty lashes.
Katy Perry, Queen of False Lashes, has teamed up with British brand Eylure, “the world’s favorite eyelash brand” to create a special collection just for you! With names like “Cool Kitty” and “Oh, Honey,” the lashes are a fun way to indulge your feminine side. A few of the lashes have adhesive already applied to the lashes. Most of the collection arrives with an tube of glue and an easy applicator.
The lashes vary from full, foxy lashes to dainty lashes that add a little “umph” to your natural lashes. Colors and glitter embellish the lashes in true Katy Perry fashion. The Sunset Stripped variety is a limited edition available only until January 2014 .
Unless you are an experienced wearer of false eyelashes, be patient with the first application. The directions recommend waiting 20-30 seconds after applying the adhesive before placing the lashes along your lash line. INO admits we were a little impatient initially, and the lashes wouldn’t stay put. But, after a few tries we can say they were a success!
