The winter television season is always fiercely competitive, and ABC Family just unveiled some exciting news regarding several of their hit shows.
According to the network, “Switched at Birth” will get a third season, while this summer’s rookies “The Fosters” and “Twisted” have made the cut as well.
Adding to the January 2014 buzz, “Pretty Little Liars” will also come back for another round of teenage drama, making for a solid roster.
ABC Family president Michael Riley explained, “ABC Family has always been a home for groundbreaking storytelling with iconic characters and families and we’re thrilled to have The Fosters and Twisted join our lineup as breakout summer hits.”
“We are very proud of the original series we continue to foster, bringing real and relatable characters to life for our viewers and know they are destined to become part of the zeitgeist alongside Switched at Birth and Pretty Little Liars.”
