We were quick to defend Melissa McCarthy when a film critic viciously attacked her weight back in February. It made us furious to see the amazing comedienne called "tractor-sized" and "female hippo," but we figured that McCarthy herself was too awesomely confident to care. Turns out that, yes, she was.
