After spending close to a month in a treatment facility for her bi-polar disorder, Catherine Zeta-Jones will be returning home on Tuesday (May 21).
The “Chicago” actress first announced she had the disorder in 2011, at the time saying, "This is a disorder that affects millions of people and I am one of them. If my revelation of having bipolar II has encouraged one person to seek help, then it is worth it. There is no need to suffer silently and there is no shame in seeking help."
At the end of April, the 43-year-old Welsh beauty checked herself in to a health care facility for what her publicist called “periodic care in order to manage her health in an optimum manner."
On Monday (May 20), her husband Michael Douglas told reporters at the Cannes Film Festival, where he is promoting his movie “Behind the Candleabra,” that Catherine is “doing a really good job of getting balanced. I'm proud of her."
