Will Smith Raps Fresh Prince Theme Song (Video)

It is probably the closest thing to a Fresh Prince of Bel-Air reunion that fans will ever get. On The Graham Norton show last night Will Smith rapped the theme song to the hit show and he help help from a couple of friends.

The actor was appearing on the show with his son Jaden to promote their new filem After Earth, which looks oh so weird. When Graham asked the two if they have ever worked together on anything musically, they both answered no. Well as luck would have it Norton had a couple of microphones for the father and son duo. The two took it all in stride and got up and did a little jam withe, Jaden in the lead.

Once the song was done, Will reminded the audience of how the last time he was on the show he rapped the theme song to The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. That of course got the audience all worked up but Smith had another surprise in store for everyone. His pal D.J. Jazzy Jeff was also there. Once he was brought out it was on, soon the music was playing and Will was rapping to the song that helped make him a household name. He was accompanied by Jaden too.

It was a killer performance that had everyone on their feet and had Heather Graham jamming in the background. That was not the only trick up Will’s sleeve though. He then brought out his longtime friend Alfonso Ribeiro, who if you recall played Carlton Banks on the hit NBC show. The character and actor were of course best known for the infamous Carlton dance and Alfonso was more than happy to treat the audience to a dance. It was seriously hysterical, even Will and Jaden joined in on the dance.

It may not have been an official reunion but it was one none the less and a killer one at that. If you haven’t seen the video footage that has gone viral never fear you can check it out below. It is seriously must see!
