"Frozen" Continues to Soar as It Crosses $500 Million Internationally

Originally making a splash with its record-breaking Thanksgiving release, "Frozen" just crossed the $500 million mark at the worldwide box office.

Disney's latest movie even nipped at the heels of "The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug" over the Christmas holiday weekend, nabbing $28.7 million while "The Hobbit" snagged $29 million. "Frozen" features the vocal talents of Kristen Bell, Jonathan Groff, Josh Gad, Idina Menzel, and Alan Tudyk.

The animated flick is the fourth Disney film to reach the milestone, joining "Iron Man 3," "Thor: The Dark World," and "Monsters University."

Having yet to hit China, Brazil, Argentina, Korea, Japan, and other markets, "Frozen" could still break even more records.
