With only a few short months until her daughter North was scheduled to arrive, Miss Kardashian graced the cover of Cosmopolitan magazine's April 2013 issue. During her Q&A session with the publication, the reality television star opened up about how she handled stress in the midst of her pregnancy.
"In situations like that, emergencies, I'm super calm. Especially with material things, I feel like it's not the end of the world as long as everyone's safe. I'm like that in any stressful situation. Even when my father passed away, I sat down and said to everyone, 'Okay, guys, what are we supposed to learn from this? We all need to grow up."

Continuing promotions for her hit reality series, Kim scored the cover of Instyle UK magazine's August 2012 issue. The E! reality star spoke about her marriage to Kris Humphries and how she has stayed strong during the divorce.
"I've always believed in love. I haven't always been so lucky, but I still do believe in it. Anyone would want to move on and take the lesson learnt from it. I loved this person, it just wasn't the right situation for me. I try to hold my head up high and live my life."

Ditching her long locks for a more short-haired punky look, the "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" starlet fronted L'Uomo Vogue July/August 2012 issue. While chatting about her accomplishments so far, Kim shared her ultimate regret and why she refused to speak about her new relationship with Kanye West.
"Lack of privacy. Everyone is always watching me, I'm under constant observation, everywhere I go there's a camera following me, in the gym, when I do the shopping, and if I decide to go without make-up it makes news throughout the world. This is why I don't want to reveal anything about my relationship with Kanye. In the past I suffered a lot because of my honesty, and when it didn't work I was criticized and treated badly: I can only say that now, with him, I'm happy."

In the midst of her crazy television schedule, the Armenian beauty garnered herself a little added exposure by covering the March 2012 issue of Allure magazine. The then 31-year-old reality star revealed her struggles with her life in spotlight, thanks to her hit reality series.
"People [think] because you film your life on a reality show, you live everything for the cameras. But we all have limits. When I saw Khloe and Lamar get married - and they had their wedding on TV - I thought, Oh, my gosh, that's so exciting! That's what I want! If you were to ask me now, that's not what I want."

As news about her marriage to Kris Humphries ending after only 72 days made headlines, the reality starlet reflected on her marriage to Damon Thomas when she was 19 in Marie Claire November 2011. During the interview, Kim stated, "I didn't know myself but I learned so much from [that relationship]: who I wanted to be, who I never wanted to be. I learned how to cook and do a lot of marital things. It definitely taught me what being a wife is all about. I think it means taking care of each others needs and being there for someone unconditionally."
