Last year, I reviewed the PlugBug from Twelve South. It is a 10W USB charger that can be used alone or as a replacement for the power prongs on a MacBook power brick. When I purchased mine last year, the PlugBug was only available with US-style power prongs. The new PlugBug World still offers a 10W USB charger that can be used alone or as an attachment to your MacBook charger, but it now adds a selection of “international snap-on plugs designed to work in major countries, such as the UK, Hong Kong, Singapore, Australia, New Zealand, Continental Europe, North America and Japan.” Twelve South says the PlugBug World will work with any current or previous MacBook, MacBook Pro, or MacBook Air power bricks, and it will even work with other Apple chargers that use the white, removable “duck head” part for the power prongs. It’s $44.99 and available now.
